The Cheneau brace is made of thermoplastic and differs from previous braces in that it opens at the front rather than the back.

It consists of a pelvic section that fits perfectly to the pelvis without hindering hip flexion and comfortable sitting. It continues at the back to the middle of the shoulder blades and at the front to below the chest.

The side walls of the harness reach below the armpits and continue with arched extensions forward and upward, thus forming the front shoulder straps. The construction is fastened at the front with two horizontal straps in the abdominal area.
